Cold Stores

Working in cold storage and freezer houses requires insulating and cold resistant workwear from the best quality and providing an optimal wearing comfort. This type of clothing comes at a certain price, and if you want to considerably increase its lifetime -and thus bring down purchasing costs- you need an extra gentle drying. Pronomar can provide this and has experienced that people who work in a cold store environment highly appreciate the professional clothes, boot and glove dryers.

Renowned international companies such as Mora, the municipality of Den Haag, the municipality of Goeree Overflakkee, Nestlé, Parlevliet & van der Plas, Smits Cheese, Strabag or Brewery der Trappisten van Westmalle all rely on the drying systems to dry their staff’s freezer clothing.

Cold Protection Face Masks

Wearing cold protection face masks is essential in cold working environments. The face is particularly sensitive to cold air circulating at high velocity. Due to the low temperatures in combination with the condensation from exhaled breath, the masks can get damp and cool off the face, or worse; cause frostbite. Staff should always be provided with breaks so they can rest and dry their clothes and masks in between shifts, to prevent uncomfortable and unsafe work conditions.
