We are very pleased to see our excellent cooperation with GloMar continue. After several projects carried out together, where we saw both our Pronomar-Top Trock drying systems as well as the Pronomar-Merus technology for green water treatment being installed, we are proud to have once again been approached by GloMar Ship Management, located in Den Helder, and operating a worldwide fleet of offshore support vessels.

The new order was for the OSV GloMar Venture, initially constructed in 1990 and rebuilt / converted in 2007.

GloMar ordered the following Pronomar-Merus rings and we were happy to install them in the last week of May when the GloMar Venture was docked in Den Helder:

1 x 1″ IND BIO ring at the hydrofoor
1 x 2 1/2″ IND BIO as well as
1 x 1 1/2″ IND BIO at the HT and LT box cooler Azimuth
1 x 8″ HCI BIO ring at the main seawater pipe

The rings are very straight-forward in the way they work: after installation they give off micro-fine oscillations that disturb the lime scale. Afterwards the troublemakers are simply flushed away leaving the equipment in question free from scaling or other harmful build-up. By keeping the pipes free from scaling you not only bring back the initial performance but you also extend their lifetime considerably. Last but not least the rings are easily installed and, even better, require no maintenance which in turn means a considerable saving in time and manpower.

We @ Pronomar are really pleased with this on-going cooperation with GloMar and look forward to working with them again in the – hopefully not too far – future.
