DDW Paxocean Asia, a shipping company headquartered in Singapore, recently placed an order at Pronomar BV. Paxocean houses four of Asia’s premier shipyards where so far over 2000 vessels of all types have been built and repaired.

Currently being built is the freezer trawler T214. It will be equipped with an auto trawl system and automatic sorting, cleaning, cooling and packaging for up to 240 tons of fish per day. But not only the technical equipment on board is of the highest standard, also the crew working on board the trawler will be taken care of – which is where Pronomar enters the stage! Pronomar is happy to see the established, efficient Top Trock drying systems implemented on board – for oilskin clothes, jackets, trousers, boots as well as gloves. All drying systems are completely made from solid stainless steel and therefore built to last. The drying systems dry from the inside out by means of a big amount of warm air coming from a powerful (yet energy efficient) blower.

The drying systems prolong the lifetime of the costly work outfits which consequentially means less purchasing costs. From a health point of view the dryers stand for a decrease in sick leaves (you are more likely to get sick when working in wet or damp work wear) which in turn increases motivation and productivity. So it is safe to say that the dryers help to create an excellent work environment.
