Pronomar stands for efficient and eco-friendly solutions in terms of Green water treatment, for all problems with heavy lime scale, rust and Marine growth like barnacles and bacteria, both of course for freshwater and seawater! The latest addition to the long list of clients is the river passenger vessel MS Swiss Emerald. This luxurious vessel, built at Hardinxveld shipyard in The Netherlands and travelling under the Swiss Flag for the Swiss shipping company Scylla Tours, covers nearly all European waterways and is among the fleet of the most beautiful, modern and comfortable river cruise liners anywhere.
Pronomar installed the following rings for different applications:
– 1 Merus 2” HCI (High Industrial Capacity) ring at the hydrofoor,
– 1 Merus 2” IND (industrial) ring for the pumps of the hydrofoor,
– 1 Merus 1 ¼” IND (industrial) BIO ring to use on the boiler (heat exchange) and last, but not least
– 1 Merus ¾” IND (industrial) ring for the water feed pipe to the kitchen
The purpose of the rings is easily explained: to keep the pipes, hydrofoors, boilers etc. free from scaling and to bring back the water to its initial quality. The way the rings work is that they give off tiny oscillations that disturb the lime scale. Afterwards the troublesome substances are flushed away leaving the boiler, water pipes and hydrofoor free from any scaling, thus bringing back the initially experienced performance level. The equipments lifetime is also prolonged which means a significant decrease in operational and maintenance costs. Last but not least you also need a lot less water or heating.
