Pronomar are happy to have received a very nice follow up order from Rivertech in Arnhem, a company providing nautical management for river cruise ships, operating on all major rivers throughout Europe. Their fleet consists of 6 Motor Passenger Vessels; after equipping the MS Amdagio and MS Amabelle last year, Mr. Sjors Neve, Rivertech’s Technical Manager approached Pronomar again, this time for the remaining 4 Motor Passenger Vessels of their fleet:

The order was for Pronomar’s highly innovative and environment-friendly MERUS rings and in the last 2 months the vessels
– MS Amacello
– MS Amadolce
– MS Amalegro and last, but not least, the
– MS Amalyra

were equipped with the following MERUS rings
– 1 MERUS 2” HCI BIO ring at the hydrofoor
– 1 MERUS 2” HCI BIO ring at the back flow boiler
– 1 MERUS 2” IND ring at the Jacuzzi and
– 1 MERUS ¾” IND ring at the return pipe boiler

The purpose of the rings is easily explained: to keep the pipes, hydrofoors, boilers etc. free from scaling and to bring back the water to its initial quality. The way the rings work is that they give off tiny oscillations that disturb the lime scale. Afterwards the troublesome substances are flushed away leaving the boiler, water pipes and hydrofoor free from any scaling, thus bringing back the initially experienced performance level. The equipments lifetime is also prolonged which in turn means a significant decrease in operational costs as well as a saving in time as there is no maintenance involved with the MERUS rings.

Pronomar are proud to have been considered again and are happy to see that now all 6 vessels of the fleet can now cruise scale-free. Now not only the passengers enjoy the highest standard, but also the vessels will benefit from state-of-the-art equipment.
