Western Geco recently placed an order with us for one of our innovative, environment-friendly multipurpose Pronomar – Top Trock drying systems. The dryers will be installed on board a new seismic research vessel “Amazon Warrior” that Flensburger Shipbuilders delivered in November 2013.

In total our dryers will see to the perfect drying and maintenance of 24 survival suits, diving suits, jackets/trousers or overalls as well as caps and other relevant headgear. The drying systems are all built from long-lasting, solid seawater-resistant stainless steel and work with the help of a powerful yet energy-efficient warm-air blower that blows a lot of warm drying air directly into the suits via nozzles in the form-fitting drying hangers, smartly placed at even the hardest-to-access-places such as shoulders, back, arm pits and legs. By keeping the costly work wear dry at all times, the materials lifetime is extended considerably which means significant savings in purchasing costs. The drying systems also help to increase the health, wellbeing and motivation of the crew on-board as it goes without saying that if you can work in dry gear at all times you are less likely to get sick.

For us at Pronomar this order was extra special, as we already have done good business with Western Geco in the past and feel that we successfully managed to get a foothold in the maritime business network.
